SERVICE INFORMATION

Adapter J-35284-19 for shim selector gauge J-35284 is available from Kent-Moore. This adapter is required when determining output shaft shim selection. The adapter will be sent at no charge to dealers who have already purchased gauge J-35284.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Follow the instructions outlined in the appropriate Workshop Manual for determining output shaft shim selection. Be sure to include the following steps:

1. Insert adapter J-35284-19 into shim selector gauge J-35284 (Figure 1) before using gauge.

2. When placing gauge onto bearing housing, fit gauge shaft directly into the machined groove in the transaxle case half (Figure 2 and Figure 3).
