Primary Throttle Valve Clearance

1985-88 I-Mark W/FWD
1. Place choke valve in the full open position.
2. Open throttle valve slowly while pushing choke valve lightly in the closing direction. Set choke valve to second stage of the fast idle cam.
3. Check primary throttle valve clearance. On automatic transmission models, clearance should be .0272 inch on 1985 models or .0323 inch on 1986-88 models. On manual transmission models, clearance should be .0214 inch on 1985 models or .0256 inch on 1986-88 models.
