Fig. 11 Checking inlet air temperature control valve:

1. Place sensing portion of valve into a container of water. Heat water to approximately 95°F, then blow air through valve hose (A), Fig. 11.
2. Ensure air flows from hose (A) to hose (B).
3. Ensure air does not flow from atmospheric port, while closing off hose (B).
4. Heat valve to approximately 113 deg.F and blow air into hose (A). Ensure air flows through atmospheric port, while closing off hose (B). Do not allow water to enter inlet air temperature control valve.
