Oil Pan: Service and Repair

1. Remove engine assembly. Refer to ``Engine, Replace'' for procedure.
2. Remove fourteen bolts and four nuts attaching oil pan and remove.
3. Discard old gasket, clean mounting surfaces. Install new gasket using a suitable sealing compound on oil pan, and install.

4. Following tightening sequence shown in Fig. 41, torque bolts 4 to 6 ft. lbs.
