HEATER BLOWER PLATE KIT

1982 I-Marks, without air conditioning, below V.I.N. 0822980.

SERVICE INFORMATION

On the affected I-Marks, heater performance may be reduced when the lower right heater control lever is in the middle position.


SERVICE PROCEDURE




To improve heater performance, install a plate kit (listed below) as follows:

1. Insert hook portion of cover plate, into sealing foam between duct and blower unit. (See fig. 1) .
2. Install screw provided in kit in upper corner of plate.

All affected vehicles in dealer stock should be repaired before retail delivery. Vehicles already sold to Isuzu customers should be corrected when performing the complimentary maintenance service or during the next service visit.

This plate must be removed if air conditioning is installed at a later date.

Plate kit P/N 8-94104-141-0 contains 1 plate and 1 screw and is available from the Isuzu parts department.
