Starter Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove negative battery cable.
2. Remove the "B" terminal wiring connector from the starter.
3. Remove the "C" terminal connector from the starter.
4. Remove the "L" terminal wiring connector from the starter.
5. Mounting bolts and nut.
6. Starter assembly.

INSTALLATION
1. Starter motor.
2. Mounting bolts and nut. Tighten the mounting bolt and nut to 40 Nm (30 lb.ft.).
3. Install the "L" terminal wiring connector to the starter.
4. Install the "C" terminal connector to the starter.
5. Install the "B" terminal wiring connector to the starter.
