EGR Valve: Testing and Inspection

Apply 13.8 inches Hg vacuum for 1986-87 Calif. Pickup or 17.7 inches Hg vacuum for 1985 Calif. Pickup to vacuum supply tube and observe diaphragm. Diaphragm should move to full upward position without leaking down. If diaphragm leaks, replace EGR valve.
