CONSULT UE941 PROGRAM CARD LOADING INSTRUCTIONS

SERVICE INFORMATION

The new UE941 program card has been released as an upgrade for use with the current UE940 program card. The UE941 contains revised engine and air bag diagnostic information for the 1996 I30.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Initialization using UE941 program card

1. Install UE941 program card and perform initialization as usual (refer to the following procedure).

2. After "Initialize end" is displayed on the CONSULT screen, turn off the CONSULT power switch and remove UE941 program card from CONSULT unit.

3. Reinstall the UE940 program card.

4. Connect the DDL connector to the data link connector for CONSULT on the vehicle. Turn on the ignition switch to start the CONSULT program.
