OVERRUN CLUTCH SOLENOID VALVE CIRCUIT CHECK




DIAGNOSTIC CHART




PARTS DESCRIPTION
The overrun clutch solenoid valve is activated by the A/T control unit in response to signals sent from the inhibitor switch, OD switch, vehicle speed and throttle position sensors. The overrun clutch operation will then be controlled.




TROUBLE JUDGEMENT CONDITIONS

DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE




CONSULT
1) Start engine.
2) Select "SELF-DIAG RESULTS" mode with CONSULT.
3) Drive vehicle under the following conditions:
Selector lever in D, OD control switch in "OFF" position and vehicle speed higher than 10 km/h (6 MPH).

OR




GENERIC SCAN TOOL
1) Start engine.
2) Drive vehicle under the following conditions:
Selector lever in D, OD control switch in "OFF" position and vehicle speed higher than 10 km/h (6 MPH).
3) Select "MODE 3" with GST.

OR




NO TOOLS
1) Start engine.
2) Drive vehicle under the following conditions:
Selector lever in D, OD control switch in "OFF" position and vehicle speed higher than 10 km/h (6 MPH).
3) Perform self-diagnosis.
