SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE B CIRCUIT CHECK

PARTS DESCRIPTION
Shift solenoid valves A and B are turned ON or OFF by the A/T control unit in response to signals sent from the inhibitor switch, vehicle speed and throttle position sensors. Gears will then be shifted to the optimum position.




TROUBLE JUDGEMENT CONDITIONS

DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE




CONSULT
1) Start engine.
2) Select "SELF-DIAG RESULTS" mode with CONSULT.
3) Drive vehicle in D1 -> D2 -> D3 position.

OR




GENERIC SCAN TOOL
1) Start engine.
2) Drive vehicle in D1 -> D2 -> D3 position.
3) Select "MODE 3" with GST.

OR




NO TOOLS
1) Start engine.
2) Drive vehicle in D1 -> D2 -> D3 position.
3) Perform self-diagnosis.
