Downshift Switch: Adjustments

NOTE: Adjust throttle cable before adjusting kickdown switch.

Middle Throttle Drum Adjustment:

MIDDLE THROTTLE DRUM ADJUSTMENT
1. Loosen lock nut, and tighten adjusting nut until middle throttle drum starts to move.
2. Fasten adjusting nut with lock nut.

Throttle Drum Adjustment:

THROTTLE DRUM ADJUSTMENT
1. Loosen lock nut, and tighten adjusting nut until throttle drum starts to move.
2. From that position, turn back adjusting nut 15 to 2 turns, and fasten it with lock nut.

KICKDOWN SWITCH
a. Adjust clearance "C" between stopper rubber and end of kickdown switch thread while depressing accelerator pedal fully.
b. Clearance "C", should be 0.012-0.039 inch.
