Special Notes

^ 1990-91 vehicles to VIN 110557- note if an "A" kit was previously installed. If so, the low pressure compressor hose has been changed. If there is no record of the "A" kit having been used, install a new low side hose.


^ 1993 vehicles built after 5/92: These vehicles have a bypass from the suction hose muffler to the compressor discharge hose. If the compressor suction pressure is greater than 33 psi, (and the compressor suction hose is warm to hot), the check valve is sticking. Remove the check valve from the compressor suction hose muffler and replace the check valve.
