Brake Rotor/Disc: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheels
2. Remove caliper without disconnecting brake hose. Refer to Brake Caliper for procedure.
3. Remove adjuster hole plug, then back off parking brake shoe adjuster.
4. Tap rotor with a suitable soft face driver to free it from hub.
5. Remove rotor

INSTALLATION
1. Place rotor on hub, temporarily install lug nuts and spacers as necessary to hold rotor securely
2. Install caliper as outlined under Brake Caliper.
3. Adjust parking brake shoes as outlined under Parking Brake System.
4. Install wheels.
