Refer to Fig. 11 and 12 for steering column disassemble and assemble procedures, noting the following:
1. Unlock steering column when disassembling and assembling.
2. To remove combination switch, insert suitable tool between mating surfaces, Fig. 13.
3. With non-tilt wheel, install O-ring before installing shaft into column, Fig. 15.
5. Install snap ring on upper shaft using a suitable tool, Fig. 16.
6. To remove steering lock, drill out self shear screws. Replace with new self shear screw heads, Fig. 17.
