AUTHORIZATION

Nissan Motor Go., Ltd., Tokyo, Japan, authorizes Nissan Motor Corporation, U.S.A. (NMC) to conduct a recall campaign on certain 1993-1995 Infiniti G20 and J30 vehicles.

INTRODUCTION

Nissan has determined that a wiring harness protector located near the seat belt pre-tensioner could ignite due to its proximity to the combustion gas generated by the activation of the pre-tensioner. To remedy this, the harness protectors will be replaced with improved ones.

All owners of Infiniti G20 and J30 vehicles affected by this campaign will be notified by a letter. A copy of the letter is included with this bulletin.

IDENTIFICATION NO.

Nissan has assigned identification number 96V-083 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign.
