1. Heat cylinder heads to 230-266°F by soaking in heated oil.
2. Drive out valve guide with press having limit of 2 tons, or use hammer and suitable tool.
3. Ream cylinder head valve guide hole. Valve guide hole diameter specification is 0.4006-0.4014 inches.
4. Heat cylinder head to 230-266°F and press valve guide into cylinder head. Projection "L", Fig. 27, should be 0.496-0.504 inches.
5. Finished reamed valve guide size is 0.2362-0.2369 inches.
