Fig. 4 Control Cable Adjustment:

1. Place selector lever in ``P'' position, then loosen control cable lock nut, Fig. 3, and place manual shaft in ``P'' position.
2. Adjust cable using long hole in control cable at transaxle end, Fig. 4, then tighten lock nut.
3. Move selector lever from ``P'' to ``1'' and ensure that selector lever moves smoothly without any sliding noise.
