Refer to Figs. 8 and 9, for steering column disassembly and assembly procedures, noting the following:
1. Unlock steering column when disassembling and assembling.
2. To remove combination switch, insert suitable tool between mating surfaces Fig. 10.
3. Models without tilt wheel, install O-ring before installing shaft into column, Fig. 11.
4. Install snap ring on upper shaft using a suitable tool, Fig. 12.
5. To remove steering lock drill out self shear screws. Replace with new self shear screw heads, Fig. 13.
