Fig. 1 Exploded View Of Driveshaft:

1. Install boot and new small boot clamp onto driveshaft.
2. Install spider assembly securely, ensuring marks made during disassembly are properly aligned.
3. Press fit spider assembly serration chamfer facing shaft.
4. Install new snap ring.
5. Pack driveshaft with 5.47-5.82 ounces of suitable CV joint grease.
6. Install slide joint housing, then install new snap ring A. Fig. 1.
7. Ensure boot is properly installed on driveshaft groove. Set boot so it does not swell or deform when its length is 4.35-4.43 inches.
8. Lock new boot clamp securely with a suitable CV joint clamp tool.
