Hydraulic Control Assembly - Antilock Brakes: Service and Repair

1. Disable airbag system, refer to Air Bags and Seat Belts/Air Bags (Supplemental Restraint Systems)/Service and Repair.
2. Drain brake fluid by attaching hose to each wheel cylinder, then open each bleeder valve while depressing brake pedal.
3. Mark each brake pipe connector for proper installation.
4. Disconnect electrical connector, brake pipes, then attaching nuts.
5. Remove actuator.
6. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a. Start brake pipes, then tighten attaching nuts.
b. Tighten brake pipes, then connect battery ground cable.
c. Bleed system.
