SERVICE INFORMATION:
The 1991 Service Manuals for the Q45 and M30 are missing certain instructions for the A/C performance test. Please locate the appropriate page in the Service Manual and add the following instruction - in your own handwriting:

"Before conducting a performance test, disconnect the ambient sensor harness connector and, using a jumper cable, make a short circuit."


FOR THE 1991 Q45 SERVICE MANUAL:

Refer to HA-55; locate the title, "TEST CONDITION", near the top of the page. Insert the following instruction in the blank area next to the title ("TEST CONDITION"):

"Before conducting a performance test, disconnect the ambient sensor harness connector and, using a jumper cable, make a short circuit."


FOR THE 1991 M30 SERVICE MANUAL:

Refer to HA-49; locate the title, "TEST CONDITION - For Auto Air Conditioner", at about the middle of the page. Insert the following instruction in the blank area next to the title ("TEST CONDITION - For Auto Air Conditioner"):

"Before conducting a performance test, disconnect the ambient sensor harness connector and, using a jumper cable, make a short circuit."


NOTE: The 1992 edition of the respective Q45 and M30 Service Manuals will include the additional instruction.
