Ignition Coil: Testing and Inspection

Fig. 1 Testing Coil Resistance:

1. Disconnect ignition coil harness connector.
2. Resistance should read approximately 0.7 ohms on cylinders 1 and 2, 3 through 8 and between terminals 1 and 2, and 2 and 3 respectively, Fig. 1.
3. If not as specified, replace coil.
