Some difficulty may be experienced while performing suspension alignments on 1991-92 Infiniti Q45 Full-Active Suspension vehicles when using optical alignment equipment and following the Service Manual procedure. The Service Manual procedure requires the engine to be running during the alignment process, and the vibration from the running engine may cause difficulty in verifying alignment readings. An "engine off" alignment procedure has been developed to eliminate vibration-related alignment errors.

Specifications for the conventional suspension and full - active suspension ("engine running" and "engine off") are listed. Please note that if the "engine off" process is selected, you must wait three minutes after the engine is shut off before checking alignment measurements.
