General Description

Parking Position Switch indicates that Shift Lever is in P range or not. IPM decides that engine starting is enable after receiving Parking Position Switch signal.

DTC Description

IPM sets DTC B1971 if vehicle speed is over 3 km/h while parking switch signal is ON.
