CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor, senses the TDC point of No.1 cylinder in its compression stroke, whose signals are fed to ECM to be used to determine the sequence of fuel injection.

If the camshaft position sensor does not operate correctly, correct sequential injection does not occur so the engine may stall or run irregularly at idle or fail to accelerate normally.
