Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair

WARNING: Before removing or inspecting exhaust system components, ensure that the exhaust system has cooled sufficiently.

REMOVAL
1. Remove the exhaust manifold heat protector.
2. Remove the exhaust manifold assembly from cylinder-head.
3. Remove the exhaust manifold gasket.

INSTALLATION
Install the exhaust manifold in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: Use new exhaust manifold gasket and lock nuts at the time of installation.
