Disassembly and Assembly

DISASSEMBLY






1. Remove the oil pump cover from the front case.
2. Remove the oil pump gears from front case.
3. Refer to Testing and Inspection.

ASSEMBLY






1. Apply engine oil to the oil pump gear and align the two timing marks.
2. Install oil pump cover, tighten bolts to 15-18 Nm (150-180 kg. cm, 11-13 ft. lbs.)






3. Using crankshaft front oil seal installer tool No. 09214-32000), or equivalent, install the crankshaft front oil seal into the front case.
