REMOVAL
1. Remove the wheel and tire.
2. Disconnect the brake hose.

NOTE: Plug the brake hose, not allow brake fluid to run out.





3. Remove the cylinder mounting bolt.
4. Remove cylinder and pads.
5. Remove the caliper mounting bolts (2EA) from knuckle.
6. Remove the carrier.





INSTALLATION
Installation is in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
- Do not apply grease to the disc or pads.
- Torque sliding pin to: 35-45 Nm (26-33 ft. lbs.)
- Torque sliding bolt to: 22-31 Nm (16-24 ft. lbs.)
- Torque carrier mounting bolt to: 65-75 Nm (48-55 ft. lbs.)
- Torque brake hose bolt to: 25-29 Nm (18-22 ft. lbs.)

NOTE: Check that the surface of the pin and bolts are not damaged before tightening.

- Bleed the system. Depress the pedal several times and check for fluid leakage from all connecting parts. Service and Repair
