Some 1992 and earlier ATM upper valve body diagrams in the shop manual are incorrect. The 2-3/4-3 shift valve and 1-2 shift valve are reversed. The 2-3/4-3 shift valve has 2 lands and the 1-2 shift valve has 3 lands. For the correct shift valve configuration and location, see the diagrams.
