REAR SEAT CUSHION ALIGNMENT PROCEDURE
THE TSB SUPERSEDES BULLETIN 11-BE-001 TO CHANGE THE TSB CODE FROM (BE) BODY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TO (BD) BODY INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR.
DESCRIPTION:
This bulletin provides procedures to re-align the 60/40 split rear seat cushion in the 2011 Santa Fe.
VEHICLES AFFECTED:
Model: 2011 MY Santa Fe
SERVICE PROCEDURE:
1. Spread the seats apart slightly by pushing up on the 60% seat with one hand. Continue to spread the seats while the other hand works the 40% seat's foam forward.
2. Work the 40% seat's foam forward by the top and front of the seat by pulling on the corner.
CAUTION:
DO NOT PULL THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE SEAT CUSHION, THIS COULD BREAK ATTACHMENT CLIP.
3. If seat alignment using steps 1 and 2 do not align the rear seats, proceed to steps 4 and 5.
4. Loosen and remove the 60% seat mounting bolts (1, 2, 3, 4).
5. Push the 60% seat rearwards then re-install the seat mounting bolts.
Tightening Torque: 43-64 N-m, (32-47 Ibf. ft)
