Evaporative Emissions Hose: Service and Repair




Fuel Vapor Hose Replacement

4WD

1. Remove the fuel tank Service and Repair.

2. Remove the EVAP canister filter. Service and Repair

3. Disconnect the quick-connect fitting (A), the hose (B), the FTP sensor 3P connector (C), and the EVAP canister vent shut valve 2P connector (D).






4. Remove the bolts (E) and the EVAP canister assembly (F).

5. Remove the EVAP canister (A) and the fuel vapor hose (B) from the bracket (C).






6. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: The new fuel vapor hose has a ring pull (A) at the connector (B). When you connect the connector and confirm that the connection is secure, remove the ring pull by pulling it down.
