Oil Pump Clearance Inspection

1. Measure the thrust clearance between the oil pump rotors (A) and clutch housing (B) with a straight edge (C) and a feeler gauge (D).





2. Measure the side clearance between the outer rotor (A) and clutch housing (B) with a feeler gauge (C).





3. Measure the side clearance between the outer rotor (A) and inner rotor (B) with a feeler gauge (C).





4. If any clearance is not within the standard, replace the oil pump outer and inner rotors as a set.
