Inside Front Door Handle Buzz
SYMPTOM
A buzzing noise is coming from the inside door handle while driving on rough surfaces.
PROBABLE CAUSE
The inside door handle assembly is vibrating against the door panel.
DIAGNOSIS
With the door open, have an assistant tap lightly on the outside of the door just above the lock cylinder. If you can hear the noise, and it goes away when you pull the door handle, proceed with CORRECTIVE ACTION.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Apply wool felt (see REQUIRED MATERIALS) to the edge of the inside door handle.
1. Pry out the cap, and remove the inside door handle assembly mounting screw.
2. Move the inside door handle assembly forward, then pull it halfway out. Disconnect the inner handle rod and all electrical connectors. Remove the handle assembly.
3. Apply a thin strip of wool felt along the inside edge of the handle assembly.
4. Reinstall the inside door handle assembly.

Wool felt: P/N 06993-SA5-000, H/C 2086676
