Reset the Maintenance Required Indicator at PDI

PROBLEM

The odometer sticks when it reaches a mileage ending in 99 (199, 299, etc.).

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Reset the maintenance required indicator.

^ Vehicles in Inventory:
For the vehicles within the affected VIN range, reset the maintenance required indicator during the pre-delivery inspection (PDI).

^ Customer Vehicles:
If a vehicle within the affected VIN range comes into your dealership with this problem, reset the maintenance required indicator.

^ If the customer calls your dealership with this problem, ask the customer to reset the maintenance required indicator. Refer them to page 38 of the Owner's Manual.

PROCEDURE





1. Insert the ignition key into the slot below the indicator.

2. With the ignition key, depress the reset button fully; then, slowly release it.
