RECALL: 1991-93 Accord Wagon Rear Seat Belt Retractor Sensor
(Supersedes 93-019, dated April 16, 1993)

BACKGROUND

The seat belt assemblies fitted on the rear outside seating positions may lock up at angles less than required by Sec. 4.3(j)(3) of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 209 "Seat Belt Assemblies."

CUSTOMER NOTIFICATION

All owners of affected vehicles will be notified by mail of this recall. Owners will be asked to contact their nearest Honda dealer for repairs. A copy of the customer letter is at the end of this service bulletin.
