Disassembly

CAUTION: The pump components are made of aluminum. Be careful not to damage them when servicing.

1. Remove the pump from car.
2. Remove the pulley.
3. Remove the flow control valve.

Removing Front Cover:

4. Remove the flange bolts, then remove the pump front cover, housing seal, plunger seal and dowel pins.

Removing Dowel Pins:

5. Remove the dowel pins and housing seal from the port housing.
6. Separate the port housing from the pump housing.
7. Remove the pump drive and driven gears from the pump housing.

Removing Pump Gears:

8. Remove the plungers from the pump housing.

Oil Seal Removal:

9. Pry the oil seal out from the pump front cover.
