EGR Solenoid Valve

Control Box Vacuum Connections:

PURPOSE
Controls vacuum for EGR operation

LOCATION
Located in the Control Box, mounted on right side of firewall.

CONSTRUCTION
Electromechanical, vacuum switching valve.


OPERATION
Controlled by the ECM and permits EGR operation. When energized, electromagnetism opens the valve, connecting the passage between the two ports.
