SRS Indicator Light Doesn't Go Off

Do not connect short connector to airbag connector when performing this test.
1. Connect test harness A to SRS unit.
2. Ensure battery voltage is approximately 12 volts. Turn ignition switch On.
3. Check for voltage between test connector terminal 12 and ground. If voltage is indicated, there is a poor ground. If voltage is not present, proceed to step 4.
4. Using a suitable voltmeter, measure voltages at terminals shown in, Fig 20.
5. If voltages are not as specified in chart, check condition of each connector and circuit of SRS System indicated by failure mode in chart.
