Air/Fuel Mixture: Adjustments

NOTE: Air/fuel mixture is ECU controlled, it can only be checked, there are no provisions for adjustment.

1. Run engine to operating temperature (cooling fan comes on).
2. Connect a tachometer.
3. Check and adjust idle speed as necessary see IDLE SPEED.
4. Connect a CO-meter and check CO content with all accessories off. CO content should not exceed 0.1%.
5. If CO content is out of specification, see DIAGNOSIS BY SYMPTOM.
6. Disconnect the tachometer and CO-meter.
