Fig. 7 Starter Motor Terminal Locations:

1. Check hold in coil for continuity between S terminal and ground as shown in Fig. 7. Continuity should exist.
2. Check pull in coil for continuity between S and M terminals. Continuity should exist.
3. If solenoid does not operate as specified, replace solenoid.
