Failure Mode E: SRS System No. 3 Fuse Open

SRS SYSTEM NO. 3 FUSE OPEN

Disconnect the battery negative and positive terminals, then connect the short connector to the air bag assembly, Fig. 1.

1. Connect special test harness tool No. 07LAZ-SL40200 or equivalent, between SRS system unit and main harness connector.
2. Connect battery positive and negative terminals.
3. With ignition switch on, measure voltage between B13 terminal and a body ground. If battery voltage exists, SRS unit is defective. Replace as necessary. If battery voltage does not exist, main harness is defective. Replace as necessary.
