Fig. 9 Starter Motor Terminal Locations. Except 1992 Prelude:

1. Check hold in coil for continuity between S terminal and ground as shown in Fig. 9. Continuity should exist.
2. Check pull in coil for continuity between S and M terminals. Continuity should exist.
3. If solenoid does not operate as specified, replace solenoid.
