Radio Condenser Capacity Test:

NOTE: Capacitance can be tested with a higher quality digital volt/ohm meter, however, a commercial condenser tester can be used to stress test and check leakage on a condenser. The radio condenser is intended to reduce ignition noise; however, condenser failure may cause the engine to stop running.

1. Use a commercially available condenser tester. Connect the tester probes and measure the condenser capacity.

Condenser capacitance: 0.47 +/- 0.09 microfarads

2. If not within specification replace the radio condenser.
