Diagnostic Notes

1. If codes other than those listed under Diagnostic Charts are indicated, substitute a known good ECM and recheck.
2. When the Check Engine Warning Light and the Self-Diagnosis indicator are on, the backup system is in operation. Substitute a known good ECM and recheck.
3. In either case above, if substitute ECM clears problem then replace the original ECM.
