CORRECTIVE ACTION A

Vehicles Normally Driven
Outside Areas of Heavy Salt Use

Clean the fuel filler pipe assembly and inspect the black plastic coating for any damage.

1. Use a high pressure washer or water hose to clean the fuel filler pipe, separator pipe, and the surrounding wheelwell.

2. Raise the car and remove the left rear wheel. Examine the black plastic coating on the fuel filler pipe assembly for peeling or cracking.

^ If the black plastic coating is undamaged, go to COMPLETION PROCEDURE.

^ If the black plastic coating is damaged, go to Step 3 of CORRECTIVE ACTION B.
