Pick-Up Coil: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove igniter unit.
2. Measure resistance between pickup coil terminals in igniter socket (adjacent green and blue wire terminals).
3. Resistance should be 750 ohms.
4. Check for continuity between each pickup coil terminal and distributor body while operating vacuum advance. No continuity should be indicated in any breaker plate position.
