Buzzing From Front Door Speakers
SYMPTOM
The front door speakers buzz when playing the audio system at high volume.
PROBABLE CAUSE
The front edge of the door panel vibrates against the door.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Apply felt to the door panel.

(One roll repairs about 50 vehicles.)

DIAGNOSIS
Play the diagnostic CD, tracks 14 thru 53, to re-create the noise complaint. When you hear the buzz, apply pressure to the front edge of the front door panel with your hand.
^ If the noise goes away, go to REPAIR PROCEDURE.
^ If the noise does not go away, disregard this service bulletin and continue with your normal diagnosis.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Remove the front door panel:
^ Refer to page 20-6 of the 2007 CR-V Service Manual, or
^ Online, enter keyword FRONT DOOR, and select Front Door Panel Removal/Installation (Enhanced) from the list.
2. Cut four 100 x 50 mm pieces of wool felt, one 25 x 15 mm piece, and one 50 x 15 mm piece.
3. Attach all six pieces of wool felt to the front edge of the door panel as shown.
4. Install the door panel:
^ Refer to page 20-8 of the service manual, or
^ Online, enter keyword FRONT DOOR, and select Front Door Panel Removal/Installation (Enhanced) from the list.
5. Repeat steps 1 thru 4 for the other front door.
6. Make sure the noise is gone by playing the diagnostic CD (tracks 14 thru 53).
