Electronic Brake Control Module: Service and Repair

Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM):

REMOVAL

CAUTION: As EBCM consists of precision parts, be careful not to expose it to excessive shock.

Preparation - Remove battery ground cable.

1. Nut
2. Harness connector

Solenoid Connector:

- Remove harness connector fixing halt.
- Remove harness connector.

3. Nut
4. EBCM

INSTALLATION
1. EBCM (4)
2. Nut (3)
- Tighten the EBCM fixing nut to specified torque.

Specs:
Torque to 6.9 Nm (60 lb.in.)

3. Harness connector (2)
4. Nut (1)
- Tighten the EBCM fixing nut to specified torque.

Specs:
Torque to 6.9 Nm (60 lb.in.)
