Repair Procedure

1. Remove the lens assembly from the fog light housing (one screw and two electrical connectors).






2. Remove the through bolt mounting the housing to the base.

3. Remove the wiring harness from the housing. Discard the housing.

4. Install the wiring harness in the new fog light housing. Install the housing.

5. Connect the electrical connectors to the lens assembly, then install the lens assembly.

6. Remove the lens assembly from the other fog light housing.






7. Examine the housing to determine if it is the original design or the updated design.
- If it is the updated design, reinstall the lens assembly and go to Aiming the Fog Lights.
- If it is the original design, repeat steps 1-5 to replace the housing. Then go to Aiming the Fog Lights.

Aiming the Fog Lights

1. Park the vehicle 25 feet away from the wall in a darker part of the building.






2. Measure the distance from the floor to the center of the fog lights.

3. Mark a line on the wall four inches below the measurement taken in step 2.

4. Turn on the low beam headlights and the fog lights.

5. Loosen the nuts on the through bolts. Adjust the fog lights up or down so the top edge of the brightest part of the beam is hitting the line you drew on the wall.

6. Tighten the through bolts, then recheck the adjustment.
