Component Tests and General Diagnostics

NOTE: - Tools Required:
^ J 35604, or equivalent pressure gage.
^ J 37773, or equivalent pressure gage adapter.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Disconnect right front brake pipe from master cylinder.
2. Install a pressure gage with a pressure gage adapter to the master cylinder right front brake pipe port.
3. Install a pressure gage with a pressure gage adapter to the rear wheel cylinder bleeder valve.
4. While pressing the brake pedal gradually until front brake hydraulic pressure reaches 100 kg/sq.cm (1422 psi), observe rear brake hydraulic pressure. Rear brake pressure should read 90 to 100 kg/sq.cm (1350 to 1422 psi). If rear brake pressure is lower than specified, replace the Load Sensing Proportioning Valve (LSPV).
5. Remove pressure gage and pressure gage adapter.
6. Connect right front brake pipe to master cylinder and tighten brake pipe flare nut to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.)..
7. Bleed the brakes. Service and Repair
